Eduardo and I have set our wedding date as December 17, 2011. Only 55 short days from now. I’ve committed to doing/making most things myself and spending the least amount of money possible on the wedding due to the fact that simply getting Eduardo here and kepping him here will end up costing us upwards of $2,000. Now, that’s not to say that the wedding will not be everything I have dreamed of…
Our colors are red and black (both mine and Eduardo’s favorite colors). Below are some things I have made so far:
I bought this basket for $.50 at Goodwill, found some awesome fabric at Hobby Lobby, and hot glued it all together. The final product is simply fantastic!
I also picked up these 6 frames from Goodwill today, too. 4 with glass, 2 without glass. I took them outside, gave them a few good coats of flat black paint and then… viola!
Obviously I didn’t make these, but I ordered them here for only $35. A steal! And they are even more beautiful in person.
I also dropped my wedding dress off this morning to he hemmed and it should be ready in plenty of time for the wedding.
And thank God for Andi who is helping me coordinate, organize, and plan so much for the wedding. I would really be overwhelmed without all her help and support! And thank you to Trina and Laura who came up last weekend also to lend their mad tracing and scissor skills. I really have no idea what I would do without you guys! {group hug}

Everything looks great! What is the white part of the bouquet made out of?

If I were anticipating a wedding, I would put you in charge of it!

Thanks K! The white part is made out of cheap white fabric. I cut it into circles and fold it into thirds and shove it down in the styrofoam. It’s time consuming but easy!
And thanks Debbie! All the wedding planning has kept me busy while waiting on my groom to arrive…
